A museum rooted in its local area
Since its foundation in 1845, and particularly after the arrival of Adrien Dubouché in 1865, the Adrien Dubouché National Museum has continually expanded its collections through donations or requests from experienced collectors and French or foreign manufactories. Adrien Dubouché himself donated over 4,000 of the 18,000 works that form the museum’s collections. The atypical make-up of the museum’s collections is therefore due to its very specific identity within the French museum sector and its role in the local region of Limoges.
The remarkable artistic and architectural richness, the design of the museum and its openness to the city allows the Adrien Dubouché National Museum to offer businesses, institutions and associations the opportunity to organise private events (general meetings, seminars, conferences, breakfasts, cocktails, dinners, prestigious parties or private tours) on its premises, during or outside of the public opening hours.
This means that companies can associate their image with the prestigious reputation of the Adrien Dubouché National Museum, by holding high-value public relations events for their employees, partners or clients.
The museum’s renovation : a metamorphosis
The architectural renovation of the museum and its contemporary extension are one of the most ambitious museum construction projects carried out in France in the last ten years. The Adrien Dubouché National Museum now has a total surface area of 6,000 sq m, an auditorium with 138 seats, a winter garden with 34 seats and a garden that can hold up to 200 people.
These spaces, which are designed for cultural events, are also available for hire to companies for private events, subject to the museum calendar.
Organise an event
The Adrien Dubouché National Museum offers businesses, institutions and associations the following packages :
– a private tour of the collections outside the public opening hours, in special, unique conditions
– private use of one or more spaces in the museum with or without a tour, during or outside of the public opening hours.
