A museum that represents its region
As a place of introduction to art, learning and transfer of the exceptional know-how that has made the reputation of the city of Limoges, the Adrien Dubouché National Museum is a genuine hub of activity and an essential cultural player, for all sections of society.
Since it re-opened in June 2012, the museum has led an active policy of openness to everyone and is keen to forge links with other cultural, social and economic players in the local area. In 2014, this commitment was represented by the museum’s first participation in the national operation “Les Portes du temps”, which offers thorough, accessible cultural content for children and teenagers – in groups or with their family – from targeted rural and urban areas.
The museum is also fully involved in the major artistic and cultural education project launched by the Ministry of Culture and Communication.
