The Adrien Dubouché National Museum has the largest public collection of Limoges porcelain in the world, plus works representing all the key stages in the history of ceramics, from Antiquity to the present day, a total of 18,000 works of which 5,000 are currently on display.
The visit is designed in a circular fashion following a fluid, educational route, through contrasting spaces, to avoid any monotony in the displays. The visit starts with the various steps involved in porcelain manufacture, then reveals the key moments in the history of ceramics, from Antiquity to the present day, and finishes with an exhibition of Limoges porcelain.
