As a Family

The Adrien Dubouché National Museum collections represent a great variety of forms, decorations and displays, and are particularly suited to young people.

The museum offers two different, free booklets aimed at young people so that everyone can explore the exhibition spaces at their own pace. Published by the visitor information department, these fun booklets for different age groups examine a group of works that are main features of the museum’s permanent collections. They are available at the museum reception.

The digital visit application

A special visit route has been designed for families and integrated in the visit application. The story of a mysterious sketchpad and the drawings inside will take you around the different areas of the museum. It’s an investigation to do as a family.

Here you can find the page dedicated to the app.

Drawing boards

The museum provides drawing boards for children aged 3 and over. These have been produced by the ceramic students at the AFPI Limousin – Art School, and can be used to make detailed observations of a selection of remarkable works from the collections.

The game-booklet

For children aged 7 and over, a game-booklet called “Le voyage extraordinaire au pays de l’or blanc” (The extraordinary voyage to the country of white gold) is available and free at the welcome desk.
